Seeds of the Zeptor variety are produced by Deutsche Saatveredelung AG (DSV) from Germany. They feature high density and coverage thickness, resistance to mechanical damage, and low maintenance requirements. The optimal sowing period is from April to September inclusive. To achieve high-quality lawn coverage, it is recommended to sow 10 grams of seeds per square meter after thorough soil cleaning; if needed, seeds can be soaked for 22 hours.
After germination, creeping bent grows rapidly, reaching a height of 7–10 cm in the first few weeks, allowing for the first mowing. Generative shoots can reach 50–70 centimeters and form numerous new shoots around the parent plant, ensuring self-repair after damage. Care requires regular watering, mowing, comprehensive mineral fertilizers, and pest and disease control (fungal infections, insects). Under high temperatures, mildews may occur, so it is important to maintain healthy growth using growth stimulants and protective agents.
