Mulberry ADMIRAL'S

Mulberry 'Admiral'skaya': Reliable Quality from Timiryazev Academy

When selecting planting material for a sustainable orchard, consistency is key. The 'Admiral'skaya' variety, developed by the Russian State Agrarian University - Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural Academy, offers a robust solution for both commercial growers and private gardeners. This cultivar reflects the center's commitment to creating plants that balance aesthetic appeal with high production standards.

Operational Performance and Care

In practice, 'Admiral'skaya' is a predictable performer. The deep black fruits are notably denser than many local varieties, which significantly reduces damage during harvesting and transit—an essential factor for fresh market operators. Maintenance is straightforward: standard horticultural practices, such as routine pruning and canopy management, are sufficient to maintain tree health and ensure a stable annual yield.

• Harvest Versatility: Whether destined for the fresh market or processing, these berries deliver consistent quality. They are highly suitable for jams and juices, maintaining flavor integrity after processing.
• Landscape Integration: Beyond its utility, the tree serves as an excellent decorative plant, providing visual structure to any orchard or garden.
• Maintenance and Sustainability: The variety exhibits good adaptability, making it easier for orchard managers to predict and mitigate risks associated with regional climatic fluctuations.

For those looking for a proven, reliable cultivar with strong genetic backing, 'Admiral'skaya' represents a solid investment in the longevity and productivity of the orchard.
