Description Siesta
SIESTA is a mulberry variety known as "Dark-Purple "Sweet Dream"", reaching a height of over three meters and capable of withstanding frost down to -35 °C, making it suitable for temperate climates. The berries are large, weighing between 6 and 10 grams, and have a delicate texture: they soften gently upon falling without bursting, though they require careful handling to preserve their flavor.

Fruit production begins in April, and the first fruits can be harvested just 225 days after planting. When ripe, the berries have a dark-purple hue, giving them an attractive appearance and making them popular for fresh consumption, as well as for making drinks, jams, and other dishes.

SIESTA boasts high yields: up to 100 kg of juicy fruits can be harvested from a properly formed tree. Moreover, the tree grows quickly, tolerates pruning well, and can be used both as a fruit-bearing plant and a decorative element in landscape design. Due to its disease resistance and low-maintenance care, seedlings of this variety are an excellent choice for greening a plot.
