Natofi

Natofi carrot is a medium-early Nantes-type variety with a vegetation period of 95 to 135 days after sowing. The roots are cylindrical, 20–22 cm long, with thin, smooth skin that does not turn green on top. The root tip is initially sharp but becomes blunt during maturation. The attachment point of the leafy top is small, facilitating harvesting and crop processing.

The variety is distinguished by high commercial and flavor qualities. The core of the roots is small and red-orange in color. Natofi carrot contains a high amount of sugars, giving it a distinct sweet taste and pleasant aroma. Due to these characteristics, it is ideal for fresh consumption as well as for preparing various dishes.

Sowing seeds is recommended in early spring into moist soil to a depth of 1.5–3 cm. Natofi carrot is well-stored, allowing for long-term use after harvest. This variety is versatile and in demand both for home gardening and commercial production.
