Royal Forto

Royal Forto — a mid-season carrot variety of the Nantes type with a vegetative period of about 110-115 days after sowing. The roots have a cylindrical shape with a blunt end, length of 18-20 cm, diameter of 2.5-4 cm, and weight of 90-110 grams. They are distinguished by a bright orange color of both core and flesh, which is dense, juicy, and sweet, with a high concentration of dry matter and carotene. The leaves are dark green, sturdy, and about 60 cm tall. The fruits have a smooth skin and slightly protrude from the soil.

The Royal Forto variety is characterized by high yield, reaching up to 450 centners per hectare, and stable market appearance — the roots are uniform in size and shape. Due to its taste qualities and vitamin content, the carrot is suitable for early crop cultivation, fresh consumption, as well as processing, canning, and freezing. When sown in summer, the roots retain good quality, do not crack, and maintain their nutritional properties for a long time.
