Mint MARIINSKAYA SEMKO

Aesthetics and utility in one plant

The Semko-Junior selection center has introduced the "Maryinskaya Semko" variety, addressing the needs of gardeners looking for more than just a culinary herb—a true decorative element for landscape design. Unlike wild mint species, this variety has been bred with a focus on structural stability and intense leaf coloration.

Agronomic features

"Maryinskaya Semko" is a perennial herbaceous plant that adapts perfectly to temperate climates. Its defining feature is the rich dark green color of the leaves, which remains decorative throughout the entire growing season. The plant is low-maintenance, making it popular among both professional landscape designers and hobbyists creating herb gardens or mixed borders.

• Life cycle: a perennial capable of overwintering in open ground.
• Appearance: dense bush structure with dark green foliage.
• Usage: creating decorative borders, landscaping recreation areas, and garden design.

Choosing a variety from Semko-Junior ensures consistency in planting material. While common mint often behaves aggressively, spreading uncontrollably, the "Maryinskaya Semko" variety demonstrates more predictable growth, which simplifies garden planning. This plant serves as an excellent accent in compositions with perennial flowers, balancing their delicacy with its vibrant, sophisticated greenery.
