Description TIMOL
Timol is a mid-season mint variety valued for its bright aroma and high yield, both in open ground and greenhouses. The plant reaches a height of 50‑60 cm, has an erect structure, and large egg-shaped leaves of light green color with finely serrated edges. The inflorescences are cones of medium length, and the flowers are pink.

The yield of green mass is from 1.3 to 1.4 kg/m², and the mass of one plant is 110‑140 g. The average period of vegetation from sowing to harvesting is 50‑60 days, which makes the variety particularly attractive for quick product turnover. Thanks to the dense structure of leaves and rich taste, Timol is widely used as a spicy-flavor additive in cuisine.

Seeds of the variety are included in the state register, and the plant is easy to grow on moist soils, especially chernozems. After harvesting, the stems are cut and dried to obtain dry mint, which is used in medicine, perfumery, and the food industry. The high value of the mint oil obtained from Timol confirms its demand in the market of aromatic and medicinal products.
