ROZOVSKAYA AROMA

ROZOVSKAYA AROMA is a peppermint variety obtained through vegetative propagation of a mutant shoot with increased leaf length and altered leaf shape. The variety is distinguished by a high essential oil content of up to 4.70% in green mass and significant yields – up to 93.9 kg/ha. Compared to the standard variety Vesna, the yield of green mass exceeds it by almost 6 t/ha.

The plant is upright, about 95 cm tall, with a powerful habitus and medium-length leaf blade without pubescence. Leaves have medium intensity of green coloration, an acute tip, and cylindrical inflorescences with pink petals. The essential oil content in dry matter is 4.56%, and the gross yield is 89.7 kg/ha.

The variety is intended for obtaining essential oil and dried floral raw materials, and can also be used as a decorative garden plant. It has high winter hardiness, lodging resistance, and drought tolerance, making it suitable for mechanized harvesting and a wide range of climatic conditions. The high yield of dry leaves up to 27 t/ha confirms the effectiveness of this variety in commercial cultivation.
