Perennial spicy‑aromatic plant, also known as Mexican agastache or many-spike, attracts gardeners with its unpretentiousness and impressive appearance. Bushes reach 1–1.5 m in height, have strong branching and a large number of peduncles, which provides lush flowering from the first year of development.
Flowers grow up to 15 cm long and create an amazing sight. The whole body of the plant emits a pleasant anise aroma with notes of citrus and mint, making it particularly attractive for use in decorative compositions and aromatherapy.
The plant is also valued as a honey plant: its flowers attract bees, contributing to the formation of high-quality honey. Due to these properties, Mexican agastache is sometimes called «northern ginseng» because of its medicinal characteristics.
