Millet KHARKIV 65

Stable Yields and Proven Reliability

The «Kharkovskoye 65» millet variety represents a classic approach to breeding, combining the expertise of the V.Ya. Yuriev Plant Production Institute and the «Selektsioner Dona» company. In an era where many hybrids demand perfect conditions, this variety stands out as a dependable choice for farmers who prioritize consistent performance over experimental results.

Key Advantages for Production

• Disease Resistance: Natural resistance to smut (Ustilago) significantly lowers the reliance on intensive fungicide programs, keeping production costs in check.
• Harvest Security: High resistance to lodging and grain shedding allows for streamlined, direct harvesting, ensuring that the yield you grew ends up in the bin, not on the field.
• Stress Tolerance: Designed to handle regional temperature fluctuations and periods of moisture deficit, this variety maintains its productivity in diverse environmental conditions.

Is this variety right for you?

«Kharkovskoye 65» is built for farms that operate on intensive or semi-intensive models. It is an excellent fit for those who need high-quality grain for processing, as it consistently meets milling standards. While it performs well across various soil types, producers should be mindful of seeding rates; overcrowding can hinder potential yields. Overall, this variety is an ideal investment for growers looking to minimize input risks while securing a reliable, high-quality output.
