Proso variety Bakhletle® is a high-yielding and medium-ripening variety, intended primarily for forage use. This variety is characterized by an early ripening period with a growing season of 57 to 73 days, allowing it to be effectively used in various agroclimatic zones, including the Middle Volga region, the Urals and Eastern Siberia. The panicle of Bakhletle is spreading and semi-drooping, and the grain is oval-elongated light red color with a strong anthocyanin coloration of the glume.
The variety was developed by FGBNU «Tatar Research Institute of Agriculture» and recommended for cultivation in the Republic of Bashkortostan and other regions. It has high yields: grain gives up to 16 centners per hectare, while dry matter yield reaches 52.3 centners per hectare, making it profitable for forage production and agricultural purposes.
BAKHETLE possesses stable agronomic characteristics and is included in the state register since 2012, which confirms its reliability and effectiveness. Due to its qualities, the variety is widely used for obtaining high-quality grain used in the feed base of farm animals, providing a stable and high yield under various climatic conditions.
