Melon NATALINA

Reliable Yields with Reduced Input Costs

The «Natalina» melon is a workhorse for farms that prioritize predictability. Developed by Russian breeders at the Federal Scientific Center for Vegetable Production, this variety allows for a significant reduction in operational costs related to chemical protection. You do not need to constantly monitor the field for downy mildew or bacterial leaf spot—this variety possesses natural resistance, saving both your budget and your agronomist's time.

Operational Characteristics

• Weight Standards: Each fruit typically weighs between 1.0 and 1.5 kg. This is the 'market-ready' size that retailers and distributors prefer, making grading and logistics straightforward.
• Visual Appeal: The vibrant yellow skin color ensures excellent shelf appeal, requiring minimal sorting efforts to maintain a premium look.
• Stress Tolerance: The variety exhibits high resistance to a complex of pathogens, including powdery mildew, brown spot, and mycospherellosis. This simplifies your integrated plant protection strategy significantly.

Managing the «Natalina» crop is efficient; it does not require complex or proprietary agricultural know-how. The optimal vegetation parameters allow for consistent harvest planning without the constant fear of losing marketability to common melon diseases. It is a robust solution for operators looking for the perfect balance between labor costs and high-quality yield per hectare.
