Maya

The Maе F1 Melon is a mid-early hybrid of French selection of the Pineapple type, possessing high agronomic characteristics and adapted to various climatic conditions. The vegetative period is 75-85 days, which allows for harvest in relatively short periods. The plant is powerful, with abundant and synchronous fruit formation, which ensures high yield and stable fruiting even under unfavorable growing conditions.

Maе melon fruits have an oval shape and large size, weight varies from 3.5 to 5 kg and more. The rind is light, with a vividly expressed even netting, which gives the fruits an attractive appearance. The flesh is white, differing in a delicate texture and a vividly expressed sweet aroma, characteristic of the Pineapple type melon. The seed chamber is of medium size, and the fruit density is high, which contributes to their good transportability over long distances.

The hybrid is distinguished by high resistance to main diseases, including fusarium, dry rot, and powdery mildew, which significantly reduces risks during cultivation. Maе F1 demonstrates high productivity potential – up to 140 tons per hectare at a recommended planting density of about 6000 plants per hectare.
