The Honey Rescue melon is a mid-season, long-vining variety with round yellow fruits covered in a net. Fruit weight ranges from 2.5 to 4.8 kg, sometimes reaching up to 5 kg. The melon flesh is thick, light yellow, crumbly, tender, and juicy, with very high sweetness, making this variety especially attractive to dessert lovers.
The Honey Rescue variety is characterized by high yield and multiferility, as well as synchronized formation of early production. It is resistant to sunburn, which improves fruit quality and preservation. Transportability is good, and shelf life is 15-20 days, allowing to preserve freshness and taste during transport and storage.
For growing Honey Rescue, heat-loving agrotechnics are recommended: sowing seeds at soil temperature of not lower than +12 degrees, optimal temperature for plant development is +25–+30 degrees. The plant does not have high requirements for soils, preferring well-warmed, light, and sloping areas. Thanks to its taste qualities and flesh structure, the melon is suitable not only for fresh consumption but also for making candied fruits, jams, and preserves.
