The Honey Princess melon is an early-ripening hybrid variety intended for cultivation in open ground and under temporary shelters. The fruits of this variety are round, yellow in color without a net pattern on the surface, weighing from 1.5 to 2.1 kg. The melon flesh is tender, juicy, has a crisp texture and a very sweet taste, making it universal for fresh consumption, canning, and making salads.
The variety has high resistance to diseases and heat resistance, ensuring a stable yield even in complex climatic conditions. The average yield on dry land is 82-94 centners per hectare, and with irrigation can reach 194-348 centners per hectare. For sowing, it is recommended to use seeds previously treated in a manganese solution and washed with clean water, sowing at the end of May in a 140 x 50 cm scheme.
During the growing process, plants are formed into one stem, removing side shoots and leaving 2-3 fruits on the main stem for optimal fruit development. Plant care includes moderate watering, soil loosening, and fertilization, which contributes to obtaining a quality crop with juicy and sweet fruits.
