RAGO

The RAGO melon variety is a mid-season cucurbit product with a vegetative period ranging from 75 to 90 days. Fruits of this variety have a shape from short oval to spherical and are colored yellow-orange with a smooth skin that features a net-like structure and a golden hue. The average weight of fruits is about 2-3 kilograms, ensuring uniformity of the harvest without significant fluctuations in size.

The flesh of RAGO melons is characterized by a dense and tender structure, white in color, with a very strong and pleasant aroma. The taste of the fruits is sweet and sugary, making them particularly attractive for fresh consumption. The variety is characterized by high yield—up to 40-50 tons per hectare, as well as excellent transportability and storability, which allows maintaining fruit quality for a long time.

One of the key features of the RAGO variety is its long storage period, which lasts from 2 to 3 months after harvest. This makes it particularly advantageous for farmers who can take their time with product realization, waiting for higher market prices. For cultivation in northern regions, it is recommended to use seedlings, and the variety is well-suited for both open ground and greenhouse conditions.
