Melon Selena

The Selena melon variety is an early Gallia-Pineapple type hybrid with a vegetative period of 65-70 days. The fruits have an oval shape and weigh from 4 to 6 kg, which corresponds to the export type. The skin is bright yellow-orange with well-defined netting, while the flesh is light green-cream, characterized by high sugar content at the level of 13-15% and a pleasant aroma, making this variety particularly attractive to consumers.

The Selena variety exhibits high tolerance to diseases such as Fusarium 0.1 and powdery mildew, which significantly eases care and increases plant resilience. Thanks to these characteristics, as well as a long storage period, the melon is well suited for cultivation both in low greenhouses and in open ground, expanding cultivation opportunities.

The fruits of this variety are characterized by good transportability, which allows maintaining their quality during transportation over long distances. Early maturation and high taste qualities make the Selena melon an excellent choice for commercial cultivation and market realization.
