Godfather Zucchini is a new early-maturing zucchini variety, distinguished by its beautiful fruits of intense orange color. From germination to the harvest of the first fruits takes only 38-45 days, allowing for a quick harvest. The plants are compact and bushy, and by the end of the growing season, the main stem turns into a short vine, which facilitates care and harvesting.
The fruits of the variety are cylindrical, of medium length and diameter, smooth and glossy, weighing about 0.6-0.7 kg. The flesh is cream-yellow, tender, with a high content of carotene and other biologically active substances, making the zucchinis not only tasty but also healthy. Due to their excellent taste qualities, this variety is recommended for both fresh consumption and canning.
The yield of the variety is 5-7 kg per square meter. For cultivation, it is recommended to sow seeds in the open ground, 2-3 pieces per hole, followed by thinning to one plant at the stage of one true leaf. Seedling method is also possible: 20-30-day seedlings are planted after the threat of frost has passed. For successful growth, the plants require regular watering, weeding, loosening, and fertilizing.
