The clover variety Vladislav was created by individual selection and re-pollination at the Nosovskaya Selection Experimental Station and was included in the State Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine since 2001. The plant features a semi-spreading or nearly erect bush of medium branching, up to 115 cm tall. Leaves are dark green, inversely lance-shaped, with good leafiness — from 49 to 54 %. Inflorescences are cylindrical, of medium density, 2.5–4.0 cm long, with light-purple, blue, or nearly white corollas, predominantly light-lilac. Pods are large, light-brown, spirally coiled from 2 to 4 turns, seeds are rounded, light-brown.
The vegetation period of the variety ranges from 64 to 76 days until the first cut and 96–123 days until full seed maturity. The variety is distinguished by high winter hardiness and drought resistance, as well as resistance to diseases, including leaf rust and mycoplasmosis. The plant regrows well in spring and after cutting, ensuring stable green mass production. Green mass yield reaches 637 ц/га, dry matter — 135 ц/га, seed productivity is 4.5 ц/га with potential seed yield up to 7.0 ц/га.
The main advantage of the Vladislav variety is high seed productivity combined with stable forage mass yield, making it competitive in all cultivation zones. Protein content in the plant varies from 23.1 to 26.6 %, and fiber content — from 19.6 to 21.0 %, ensuring high-quality forage base. Economic efficiency of growing this variety is due to the possibility of additional income from high seed productivity. The owner of the variety is the Federal State Budgetary Institution "FANЦ South-Eastern Region".
