Description Eureka
The Eureka flax variety was created by hybridization followed by individual-family selection, ensuring high yield stability and quality. This variety is intended for obtaining oil for both food and technical purposes, as well as meal for animal feed. The plant reaches a height of 58-64 cm, has a round stem of 3-4 mm thickness, which branches in the lower and upper parts. The vegetation period is 81 days, enabling effective use of the variety in various climatic conditions.

The inflorescence is a panicle 26-33 cm long, and the fruit is an oval capsule containing 8-11 brown seeds. The seeds are characterized by high resistance to lodging, capsule cracking, and seed shattering, which helps preserve the harvest and reduce losses during collection. The variety is resistant to pests and diseases, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in various zones.

The seed yield of the Eureka variety reaches 29.6 centners per hectare, with oil content in the seeds at 38.2%. These indicators make the variety attractive for agricultural production, ensuring high efficiency and product quality. Due to its characteristics, the Eureka variety is suitable for a wide range of agronomic conditions and can be successfully grown in various regions.
