Flax Sail

Focus on textile fiber quality

When selecting flax for industrial processing, agricultural producers prioritize the yield and quality of the fiber. The "Parus" variety from the breeding and seed company "Terra-Yug Ukraine" was developed for those aiming to supply textile manufacturers who require stable raw materials with predictable physical and mechanical properties.

Practical application in farming

• Processing orientation: The primary niche for this variety is the production of long, durable fiber. This makes it a compelling choice for farms that have established contracts with flax processing plants or operate their own primary processing facilities for bast crops.
• Technological discipline: The variety is demanding regarding the agricultural background. Experience shows that "Parus" reaches its full potential in structured soils with adequate moisture levels. Agronomists should prioritize timely chemical protection during early vegetative stages, as field purity directly affects fiber contamination, which is critical for final product quality.
• Crop rotation: "Parus" fits well into intensive farming schemes. It is not overly aggressive towards the soil, allowing for its strategic placement after winter cereals while maintaining traditional crop rotation practices.

Choosing this variety is an investment in the farm's specialization. In a market demanding specific technical fiber parameters, "Parus" helps minimize risks and ensures the production of material in high demand within the Ukrainian textile industry.
