Flax Reliable

Technical Overview of "Nadiyniy" Flax

The oil flax variety "Nadiyniy," developed by the L.A. Zhdanov Donskaya Experimental Station (VNIIMK), is a technical solution designed for consistent oil yield and field reliability. Its breeding focuses on achieving a superior oil content within a compact and manageable biological cycle.

Agronomic Performance and Plant Health

The variety features a maturation period of 85–100 days, fitting perfectly into various regional crop rotation schemes. With a plant height of 70–80 cm, "Nadiyniy" demonstrates architectural stability, ensuring efficiency during mechanical harvesting processes.

• Oil Quality and Yield: The variety exhibits an oil content ranging from 40% to 44%. This high genetic capacity for oil accumulation makes it a prime candidate for processors seeking consistent raw material quality.
• Disease Resistance: The plant is engineered for high resistance to two primary threats—anthracnose and Fusarium wilt. This reduces reliance on intensive fungicide applications and protects plant stands throughout the critical growth stages.
• Productivity Potential: Under optimized agronomic conditions, the potential yield reaches 2.5 to 3.5 tons per hectare, offering a strong balance between input investment and final output.

By prioritizing resistance to vascular diseases and optimizing the oil-to-biomass ratio, "Nadiyniy" acts as a robust tool for oilseed producers, ensuring predictable economic outcomes through stable performance.
