Flax Linsan

Stable Yields for Oilseed Flax Production

Working with the 'Linsan' variety, developed by the Institute of Oilseed Crops of NAAS, farmers can expect predictable results across various field scales. This oilseed flax demonstrates excellent adaptability to the soil and climatic conditions of Ukraine, making it significantly easier to plan agricultural operations.

Practical Aspects of Cultivation and Maintenance

• Biological Shield: High resistance to anthracnose, rust, and fusarium wilt significantly reduces the need for frequent fungicide applications. This translates not only to savings on input costs but also to a reduction in the chemical load on the soil.
• Ease of Management: The variety responds well to standard agricultural practices. When seeding rates are strictly followed and appropriate crop rotation is implemented, 'Linsan' exhibits uniform ripening, which simplifies combine harvester settings and reduces grain loss during straight combining.
• Operational Efficiency: The plants reach an optimal height for efficient harvesting, minimizing the number of machinery passes and reducing wear and tear on headers.

By choosing this variety, you are investing in breeding that has been rigorously tested under real-world Ukrainian farming conditions. The stability of this flax allows you to build a clear strategy for oilseed marketing, relying on high grain quality that meets modern industry standards.
