Lucerne variety Lada is a perennial herbaceous crop from the legume family, created by polycross method based on re-pollination of fast-growing biotypes. This variety belongs to the meadow type and is characterized by high resistance to mowing in early phases of vegetation, drought tolerance above average, winter hardiness, as well as great resistance to lodging and root rot. Lada variety provides high yield of dry matter — at the bud stage with three cuts, you can get from 11.5 to 12 tons per hectare, while the crude protein content is 22-24%, providing 2.3-2.5 tons of protein per hectare.
