Description EARLY FRUITING
Early fruiting honeysuckle is a mid-season variety with large berries weighing about one gram and up to two centimeters in length. The fruits have an elongated shape, dark-blue color with a blue bloom, and are slightly pubescent. The berry is juicy, aromatic, and gently sweet without bitterness, making it ideal for both fresh consumption and canning.

Cultivating this variety is convenient due to its high yield and early ripening: the first fruits appear just a few weeks after planting. Honeysuckle prefers sunny spots with abundant moisture, but it also tolerates cold and drought well, making it suitable for growing in various climatic conditions. The plant grows on light loams, chernozems, and podzolic soils.

The variety is resistant to several diseases – powdery mildew, verticillium wilt, and anthracnose – but may be affected by webbed mites, aphids, and flea beetles. Thanks to its winter hardiness down to -10 °C and compact dense crown, the plant height does not exceed 1.5–2 meters, making it convenient for planting in gardens and orchards.
