Tulip Baby Blue

Stability in Cultivation and Flowering

The 'Baby Blue' tulip, belonging to the Triumph class, is a reliable asset for professional growers. Its primary advantage lies in the combination of a compact growth habit and high resistance to soil-borne pathogens. In intensive cultivation environments, this minimizes losses, as the variety exhibits a strong inherent immunity to Fusarium and Fusarium wilt, significantly simplifying plant protection strategies.

Operational Performance

• Height and Structure: Its low-growing profile makes it ideal for high-density forcing, maximizing greenhouse space efficiency. The stem is robust and resistant to lodging, reducing labor and material costs for plant support and staking.
• Flowering Schedule: The mid-season blooming period allows for flexible supply chain management. The vibrant lilac petals maintain excellent market quality and color saturation even during minor temperature fluctuations.
• Maintenance Requirements: Reduced susceptibility to fungal diseases decreases the need for frequent fungicide applications, effectively lowering the overall cost of production per unit.

'Baby Blue' is an optimal choice for both container gardening and commercial cut flower production, where uniform development across the entire crop is crucial. The plant does not require complex agrotechnical procedures, offering predictable results when managed under standard irrigation and temperature protocols.
