Daylily Perlinna Krivhorod

Breeding tailored to local climates

The daylily variety 'Perlyna Kryvorizhzhia' is a product of the Kryvyi Rih Botanical Garden (National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine). Unlike many imported hybrids, this variety is bred to thrive in the fluctuating weather patterns of the steppe and forest-steppe zones. It demonstrates remarkable resilience against sudden temperature drops and water scarcity, making it a reliable choice for professional landscaping in regions with harsh continental climates.

Practical use in professional landscaping

The primary value of 'Perlyna Kryvorizhzhia' lies in its low-maintenance profile combined with high aesthetic impact. It is specifically selected for practical scenarios where durability is paramount:

• Public Sector Landscaping: Its robustness makes it an excellent candidate for city parks and municipal flowerbeds where manual labor and maintenance resources are limited.
• Landscape Contrast: The pure white petals serve as a perfect highlight in mixed borders, effectively brightening up shaded garden corners or creating sharp contrasts against dark-foliage shrubs.
• Disease Resistance: The variety's natural resistance minimizes the need for heavy fungicide application, aligning with modern trends for environmentally conscious gardening and efficient resource management.

For the best performance, the plant should be established in sunny to partially shaded locations. It responds well to standard mulching, which is a key agronomic practice to retain soil moisture during the hot Ukrainian summer, ensuring long-lasting blooming cycles without intensive watering requirements.
