Lettuce VITAMIN

Working with the Vitaminnny leaf lettuce

When planning a vegetable patch for greens that will provide consistent results, you inevitably turn to proven varieties. The 'Vitaminnny' leaf lettuce by Agrofirma Poisk is a classic case where expectations meet reality.

On-site performance

The plant forms a neat, light-green rosette. With its medium maturity period, it is perfect for staggered sowing, ensuring a fresh supply of greens throughout the season. The rosette is medium in size, which is practical for harvest — ideal for a single meal without the risk of the lettuce becoming woody or overgrowing.

Cultivation and maintenance

• Sowing: The variety thrives in open soil. The seeds germinate uniformly, which reduces the need for reseeding.
• Watering: Requires consistent moisture. If the soil dries out, the leaves tend to toughen, so drip irrigation or regular watering is a must.
• Harvesting: It is easy to cut the whole rosette. Thanks to its delicate leaf structure, 'Vitaminnny' is very easy to prepare for the table with minimal waste during washing.

It is a reliable "workhorse" that, with minimal attention to soil aeration and timely irrigation, provides a steady yield of marketable produce.
