Lettuce POISK ST 16

POISK ST 16 is a mid-season lettuce variety that matures 42-45 days from full germination to harvest. The leaves of this variety are large, round, green in color with a highly blistered surface and wavy edges. Plant mass varies from 380 to 405 grams, ensuring high yield. The texture of the leaves is crunchy, juicy, and very tender in taste, making this lettuce ideal for fresh consumption, in salad compositions, as side dishes, and on sandwiches. The POISK ST 16 variety is characterized by high resistance to bolting, which allows the product to maintain its commercial appearance and quality for a longer time. Moreover, it exhibits resistance to root rots and leaf marginal necrosis, increasing its reliability during cultivation. This lettuce is well suited for cultivation under various conditions: in plastic-covered unheated greenhouses, open ground, and on hydroponic systems, especially in spring-summer cycles. In hydroponics, the plant reaches a maximum mass of about 280 grams per pot and a height of up to 23 cm. POISK ST 16 belongs to the Batavia variety group and is distinguished by late stem growth, which increases the harvest period. Due to its high vitamin content and excellent taste qualities, this variety is popular among consumers and producers. Its versatility and resistance make it a profitable choice for cultivation both in commercial and home conditions.
