Orbital

Orbital salad is a red Batavia-type lettuce distinguished by its vivid ruby-red leaf color, which remains vibrant even under insufficient lighting during winter. This variety is resistant to bolting and necrosis, ensuring high-quality produce when used in salad mixes. Due to its decorative and flavorful qualities, Orbital looks great both in garden beds and indoors — on windowsills, in greenhouses, and in vertical gardens.

The plant develops rapidly, reaching full leaf mass within a month, making it suitable for year-round cultivation, including hydroponics. Orbital adapts easily to various soil types and greenhouse conditions, exhibits high resistance to diseases and stress factors, and quickly recovers from adverse conditions. The lettuce does not react negatively to high temperatures or increased UV levels, expanding its cultivation possibilities across different climates.

The rosette structure of Orbital is attractive, with deeply curled leaf edges that give the lettuce an appealing and decorative appearance. The recommended planting density is 16–22 plants per square meter, which is optimal for obtaining high-quality yields.
