Lettuce KITEZH

Leaf lettuce 'Kitezh' is an early-maturing variety that can be harvested as early as 45-50 days after germination. It forms large rosettes of leaves with deep folds and an intense red-rubine hue. The lettuce leaves are very tender, crunchy, and juicy, making them appealing to both gourmets and gardeners. Due to the high content of iodine and other beneficial micronutrients, such as vitamins C, K, A, folic acid, potassium, and iron, this variety offers not only excellent taste qualities but also high nutritional value.

Lettuce 'Kitezh' is characterized by high yield — averaging about 2.5 kg per square meter. It is resistant to bolting and grows quickly regardless of day length, allowing for year-round cultivation in open ground as well as in protected conditions, including greenhouses and home plantings. This variety is undemanding in care, but to achieve maximum productivity, it is recommended to follow agronomic practices: proper watering, fertilization, soil loosening, weeding, and thinning. It is important to avoid over-wetting and using cold water for irrigation to prevent the development of diseases and pests.

Additionally, lettuce 'Kitezh' has a decorative effect due to the rich red-rubine color of the leaves, making it not only useful but also an aesthetically pleasing element of a garden plot. The presence of coarse fiber in the leaves helps suppress the feeling of hunger and improves intestinal function, making this variety particularly beneficial for healthy eating. Thus, 'Kitezh' is a universal and reliable choice for cultivation by both experienced gardeners and beginners.
