Description ICE WAVE
Ice Wave F1 is an early-maturing hybrid lettuce variety of the Iceberg type, developed by Syngenta Seeds from the Netherlands. This variety is highly adaptable to various soil types and can yield high harvests of up to 5.4 kg per square meter. The vegetative period ranges from 45 to 60 days, allowing multiple cropping cycles per season. Due to its adaptability, the lettuce tolerates temperature fluctuations well, especially in spring, making it ideal for open-field cultivation and autumn harvest.

The heads of Ice Wave lettuce are flat-round in shape with well-developed inner leaf layers. They are medium-sized, compact, and light green, ensuring high marketability and ease of packaging, including in film wrapping. The variety is intended for fresh consumption, marketing, and processing, making it a versatile product for various purposes.

Special attention has been given to the variety’s resistance to major diseases and adverse factors. Ice Wave exhibits high resistance to powdery mildew, bolting, marginal scorch, and internal necrosis, ensuring a prolonged harvest period and reducing losses during cultivation. The variety is suitable for direct sowing into the ground or for cultivation via seedlings, providing flexibility in agronomy and adaptability to different growing conditions.
