Lettuce ICEBASAR

Icebasar salad represents an early-maturing iceberg lettuce hybrid with a vegetation period of 45-60 days. This variety forms large round heads with a dense internal structure and a weight of about 500-600 grams. The leaves are light green, medium-sized, with wavy edges and small incisions, possessing a delicate taste and crisp texture, making the salad ideal for fresh consumption.

Icebasar is distinguished by high plasticity and resistance to summer growing conditions, tolerating high temperatures and temperature fluctuations well. The variety is suitable for cultivation on all soil types, both by sowing seeds and by planting seedlings, allowing its use in several crop rotations during the season. Thanks to a wide harvesting campaign, the salad maintains marketable quality in the field for a long time, not losing freshness and attractiveness.

Moreover, Icebasar possesses high resistance to internal necrosis, leaf margin burn, boltiness, and powdery mildew, which ensures a stable yield of up to 4.1-5.4 kg per square meter. This salad is versatile: it is suitable for sale on the fresh market as well as for processing, making it a profitable and convenient choice for summer cultivation.
