Annisole salad is a mid-early leaf lettuce type Batavia, developed by Syngenta Seeds from the Netherlands. The vegetative period of this variety ranges from 45 to 60 days, allowing for multiple harvests during the season. The lettuce has an attractive light-green color and forms a lush, voluminous rosette of bright-green, very crisp leaves with a moderate, refreshing taste, making it ideal for preparing fresh salads and other healthy food dishes, as well as for table presentation.
Annisole exhibits high plasticity and stability, ensuring excellent commercial qualities when grown both in open ground and on salad lines using continuous hydroponics. The variety is suitable for spring and autumn sowing, as well as direct sowing in the field.
