Description Danilo
Danilo lettuce is a new type of iceberg head lettuce variety developed by the Dutch company Enza Zaden. This hybrid is characterized by high productivity and resistance to various growing stress conditions, including resistance to aphids, false powdery mildew, and leaf edge burn. The variety is intended for seedling cultivation both in open fields and under cover, allowing it to be grown throughout the entire season — from spring to autumn.

Danilo lettuce heads have a round, slightly wavy shape and a light green color. The average weight of one head is about 400 grams. The time to maturity from transplanting seedlings is 50-55 days, making this variety early-maturing. Due to its resistance to bolting and diseases, the lettuce withstands transportation well, maintaining its market appearance and quality.

For successful cultivation of Danilo, regular care is required, including timely watering, soil loosening, weed removal, and fertilization, which should be conducted once a month. The yield of this variety reaches 3.5-4.5 kg per square meter, confirming its high productivity. Danilo lettuce seeds are sold in packages of 18-30 seeds and are intended for cultivation in open ground.
