This variety is distinguished by its short growing period — only 55 days from transplanting seedlings to full readiness for harvest. Lectrice forms dense, light-green heads with a rich inner structure, making it attractive for fresh consumption.
The variety is recommended for cultivation both in open and protected soil, but especially well-suited for the summer-autumn season in open ground. To achieve high yields, Lectrice requires soil with neutral or slightly alkaline reaction (pH 6-7), preferably light loams or light dry soils. The plant does not tolerate acidic soils, so soil quality must be monitored.
