Lettuce ICE QUEEN

The "Ice Queen" lettuce represents a historic iceberg variety, known for over two centuries and distinguished by its royal beauty. Its outer dark green leaves with rich jagged edges form a unique crown that gently wraps and protects the inner snow-white heart. This lettuce heart is characterized by sweetness, juiciness, and a dense crunchy texture with a distinctive slight bitter aftertaste, making the variety particularly popular among chefs.

This lettuce variety is intended for year-round cultivation and is characterized by high resistance to bolting, which allows maintaining the harvest "on the root" for an extended period. The vegetative period from sowing to harvest is 65–75 days. Heads of lettuce reach a mass of 300 to 500 grams, possess a dense structure, and maintain freshness even under unfavorable conditions.

"Ice Queen" adapts perfectly to a cold climate, making it an ideal choice for early spring sowing. Due to its resistance to flowering in hot weather, the lettuce maintains freshness and an attractive appearance during the summer period. This variety combines decorative qualities and high taste characteristics, making it an excellent choice for cultivation both in home conditions and in commercial agriculture.
