Regilius F1 is a late-maturing hybrid of red cabbage, intended for cultivation in personal subsidiary holdings. This variety has elevated leaf rosettes, large leaves of purple color with a distinct waxy coating, giving them a characteristic appearance. The leaves have a weakly blistered structure and slightly wavy edges, which contribute to good head protection.
Regilius F1 heads are of medium size, round in shape, and have a dense structure. Their weight varies from 1.7 to 3 kilograms, and the internal color when cut is from purple to dark purple. The internal head structure is medium or coarse, which ensures excellent taste and high product quality. The outer stalk is long, while the inner one is short or of medium length, which facilitates processing and preparation of the cabbage for consumption.
One of the main advantages of the Regilius variety is its ability to be stored for a very long time — more than 8 months, which allows the cabbage to be used fresh throughout the winter period. The hybrid yield reaches 4.6 kg per square meter, making it a profitable choice for gardeners and farmers striving to obtain a stable and high-quality harvest of red cabbage.
