Description Attraction
Attraction lettuce is a mid-season variety of head lettuce of the Iceberg type, bred by the German breeding company N.L.Chrestensen. The vegetation period ranges from 55 to 70 days depending on growing conditions. The plant rosette is large, branched, with a diameter of about 35 cm and a height of 25-30 cm, featuring upright, light green leaves of large size, smooth and slightly wavy at the edge. The head is round and closed, weighing an average of 220-260 grams, distinguished by high density and a crisp texture.

This variety is valued for the high taste qualities of its leaves, which have a sweet taste and crisp structure, making the lettuce ideal for fresh consumption and culinary use. Attraction is distinguished by high resistance to diseases, ensuring stable yields and allowing cultivation throughout the entire garden season from spring to autumn. In closed ground, the variety is capable of producing a harvest year-round.

For sowing, lettuce seeds are recommended to be sown from April to June with an interval of 7-10 days, and for seedlings, use prepared substrate 30-35 days before transplanting into open ground. The optimal temperature for seed germination is about +5 °C. The culture prefers sunny areas with well-moistened, non-acidic soils and adapts well to various growing conditions.
