Description Chrysolite
Chrysolite lettuce represents a mid-season variety of the Grand Rapids type, intended for industrial cultivation in large volumes both in open ground and protected environments. The commercial readiness begins 50-55 days after full seedling emergence on soil and about 30 days when grown on hydroponics. This variety is distinguished by high plasticity and resistance to leaf edge burn, making it particularly valuable for year-round production in greenhouses and peasant farms.

The leaf rosette of Chrysolite is semi-erect, with a height and diameter of about 26 cm. Leaves are of medium size, round in shape with a pitted surface and a strongly wavy edge, colored yellowish-light green. Leaf vein pattern is fan-shaped, and leaf edges are entire without cuts. Average rosette weight on soil ranges from 340 to 470 grams, and on hydroponics with a pot is about 180-200 grams. The rosette is dense, the hypocotyl does not elongate, which helps preserve commercial qualities during cutting.

The yield of the variety reaches 3.8-4.1 kg per square meter, confirming its effectiveness for industrial production. Due to its characteristics, Chrysolite lettuce is suitable for various cultivation technologies, including hydroponics and substrate, ensuring stable product quality and attractive appearance. This variety is ideal for year-round cultivation, allowing a constant supply of fresh products to the market.
