Lettuce Kieren

Kieren is an early, head lettuce type with a vegetative period of 40-45 days, suitable for cultivation in open ground during the summer season. The plant forms a dense rosette of light-green, juicy leaves weighing 350-400 grams, possessing a pleasant, delicate taste. This variety is especially valued for its high commercial quality and is suitable for fresh consumption as well as for making salad mixes.

Kieren is distinguished by high resistance to stressful growing conditions, including hot summer weather, leaf edge burn, and bolting. Additionally, the variety shows good resistance to downy mildew and is not susceptible to aphid infestation, significantly simplifying care and increasing yield.

For successful cultivation, it is recommended to sow lettuce on open, well-lit areas. The variety is less suitable for autumn cultivation under conditions of high air humidity. Thanks to its adaptive qualities and resistance to adverse factors, Kieren lettuce is an excellent choice for the summer season.
