Arusha

Arusha lettuce is an early-maturing iceberg variety developed in the Netherlands. It forms round, slightly flattened heads with dense, medium-green leaves and a uniform internal structure. Due to its slow compacting, the lettuce provides a prolonged harvesting period, which is an important advantage for farmers and producers.

This variety is distinguished by high resistance to marginal necrosis, discoloration, and vein browning, enhancing its reliability when grown under various conditions. Arusha is suitable for year-round cultivation, both in open and protected soil, as well as in hydroponics. It is recommended to grow it as seedlings with an optimal germination temperature around 16 degrees Celsius, since high temperatures may negatively affect plant growth and development.

Arusha lettuce is well-suited for processing and packaging in film, showing excellent results even in hot summer conditions. Its moderate growth vigor and lack of bolting make this variety convenient for agronomic purposes. Seeds are available in packages of 1000 and 5000 pellets, which is convenient for various production scales.
