RUSSIAN DELICACY

Daikon 'Russian Delicacy' is a high-yield variety that ripens quickly within 70 days, suitable for both open and protected soil. The root vegetables have an elongated-cylindrical shape, up to 50 cm long, 50 cm in diameter, and weighing up to 1500 g. Leaves grow in a semi-erect rosette, 55–60 cm high, while the plant remains undemanding and resistant to bolting.

The root vegetable pulp is white, smooth, juicy, and crisp. The taste is delicate: sweet-spicy aftertaste without bitterness, mildly spicy but not harsh. Such texture makes daikon ideal for both fresh consumption and storage for 1–2 months.

The variety has high heat tolerance, allowing it to be grilled or baked in the oven without losing its taste qualities. Additionally, 'Russian Delicacy' is resistant to bolting, bacterial soft rot, and other diseases, and demonstrates good yield – up to 12 kg/m². This makes it a popular choice for both home gardening and commercial cultivation.
