Kakadu

Daikon "Kakadu" is an early-maturing variety with a short vegetative period, ready for harvest 35–45 days after seedling emergence. The roots have a carrot-like shape: white, smooth, 15 to 22 cm long and usually weighing 180–250 g, though large specimens can exceed 350 g.

The root flesh is juicy and crisp, without bitterness. The taste is pleasant and refreshing, slightly spicy, tender and dense. The variety is characterized by resistance to cracking, flower formation, and does not branch even with excess moisture.

The yield is 4–5.5 kg/m². Uniform root formation ensures uniformity of the fruit and high product quality. The variety is suitable for fresh consumption and storage for 1–2 months (in sand).
