Cassandra F1 is an early bush tomato hybrid with a genetically predetermined beak, characterized by vigorous growth and a powerful root system. The plant forms 5‑6 trusses, reaches a height of up to 0.8 m, making it low-growing and convenient for growing in greenhouses and open ground. The determinate plant type ensures uniform fruit ripening, while its photophilic nature allows for successful cultivation even in less well-lit areas.
Cassandra fruits weigh 190‑220 g, have a dense structure and a round shape. They are suitable both for sale at fresh markets and for pickling, making juices and other food products. The vegetative period is 95‑100 days (65‑70 days at elevated temperatures), which allows for a quick harvest in polyethylene greenhouses on trellis.
Seeds are packaged in 300–330 pieces per gram, total package weight – from 2 to 3 g. When planting, it is recommended to use a density of 200‑350 seeds per hundred square meters, planting scheme – 2–3 plants per m². Cassandra grows well on heavy soils, loams and clays, as well as in mulched conditions with temporary cover. Seeds are produced in Italy, which guarantees high quality and resistance to a number of diseases.
