The Actrice potato variety is an early table-type variety of Dutch origin with a maturation period of 45 to 80 days. The tubers have a regular, attractive oval shape, about 8 cm long and weighing 90 to 150 grams. The skin is smooth, dense, and yellow, with small, moderately deep eyes, of which there are few on the surface. The flesh is pale-yellow in color, with a high dry matter content (up to 18.5%), which provides excellent taste qualities and makes the variety suitable for preparing various dishes. The cooking type AV indicates medium firmness of the flesh, and the starch content varies from 14 to 16.5%. The Actrice variety is characterized by high yield and stable fruiting, reaching maximum yields of 300–400 centners per hectare. It adapts well to various soils, especially preferring light soils, and does not require specific growing conditions. The tuber storage capacity is 96%, allowing long-term storage without quality loss. The drought resistance of the variety is rated at 7, indicating good tolerance to water deficiency. Additionally, the Actrice potato has high resistance to major diseases such as late blight, potato scab, potato mosaic, and nematodes. This makes it a reliable choice for cultivation in various climatic conditions. The variety was developed by the company AgroPlant from the Netherlands, and the first reproduction was grown in Ukraine from elite seed material, guaranteeing high-quality planting material.
