Hyssop Healer

A Spicy Classic for Your Garden

The 'Lekar' hyssop variety from the Agricultural Breeding and Production Enterprise 'Sortsemovoshch' is a perennial herb that finds its place both in decorative gardening and in medicinal herb patches. This variety is distinguished by a high concentration of essential oils, making it an indispensable asset for those cultivating aromatic and medicinal herbs.

Practical Applications

• Culinary Accents: The bitter, spicy taste with a distinct minty-camphor finish is ideal for marinades, pickling vegetables, and seasoning meat dishes. Using dried or fresh 'Lekar' leaves adds a deep, herbal profile to your culinary creations.
• Phytodesign and Pollination: The plant features beautiful blooms, attracting bees and bumblebees to your plot. It is frequently planted as a border crop or as part of a formal 'apothecary garden.'
• Agricultural Features: The variety is low-maintenance, overwinters effectively, and spreads quickly. Agronomists recommend sowing in sunny areas with light soil, which promotes maximum essential oil accumulation in the leaves.

Choosing seeds from the 'Sortsemovoshch' enterprise means working with the originator, whose breeding work focuses on preserving the stable characteristics of the crop. 'Lekar' does not require complex maintenance: timely watering during the establishment phase and regular pruning of inflorescences are sufficient to maintain a compact bush shape.
