Description HYDRA
Hydrangea – a shrub native to the humid regions of East Asia and North America. In temperate climates, it is most often grown in gardens, however, it grows well in containers and can be enjoyed indoors.

One of the main features of this genus is the large, round flower head with a diameter of up to 25 cm. Flowers can be white, pink, blue, or red, with spots, stripes, or veins of bright color, and on one inflorescence usually develop from two to six buds, gathered in a cyme. Leaves of hydrangea are bright green and lanceolate; they appear either together with the opening of flowers or after.

Hydrangea is undemanding in nature: it flowers twice a year – at the end of winter and in spring, if it is taken out of the dormancy period in time. Care includes proper watering (not overwatering), providing bright lighting and moderate temperature. After flowering, the plant can be placed on a shelf or balcony, and if necessary – propagated by seeds, although the result may be unpredictable. Due to the large number of hybrids, hydrangea remains a popular choice for lovers of collection houseplants.
