Total K

Systemic herbicide for broad-spectrum control of annual and perennial weeds on agricultural land and non-agricultural areas.

Desiccant for cereals, legumes, and sunflower.

Formulation and active ingredient:

Aqueous solution containing glyphosate potassium salt at 625 g/L, equivalent to 500 g/L in acid.

Chemical class:

Glycines.

Packaging:

Barrels of 10 and 20 liters.

Speed of action:

Initial herbicide effects appear on days 2-3 as yellowing and browning of plants. Complete death occurs 7-14 days after application depending on weed species composition and rate of application.

Mode of action:

The active ingredient, upon contact with green vegetative parts of weeds (leaves, stems), loosens intercellular bonds, allowing absorption by parenchyma tissue and systemic movement throughout all plant organs, inhibiting synthesis of amino acids required for growth and metabolism of weeds, leading to total death including root systems. Total K is only effective on actively growing weeds and does not affect plants that emerge after application.

Properties and advantages:

Highly effective broad-spectrum (non-selective) herbicide;

Due to its unique penetration mechanism, it increases speed of action and reduces temperature-related effects during application, adapting to a wider temperature range, thus expanding biologically justified application windows;

Sedimentation after 30 minutes of application does not reduce efficacy;

Application during weed growth period allows complete eradication of persistent perennial weeds including couch grass, creeping oxalis, field bindweed, etc.;

Total K is recommended for control of many hydrophytic weeds (sedges, reed, etc.);

Areas treated with Total K and perennial weeds, according to application guidelines, should not be mechanically tilled until 8-12 days have passed. Otherwise, it may cause artificial 'apical pruning' of the plant;

The product has no crop rotation restrictions. Any crops can be planted after Total K;

Can be applied as a desiccant prior to harvest, improving grain quality by reducing moisture content and weed contamination;

Application of Total K in steam, fallow, and minimal tillage systems reduces mechanical tillage costs, allows reduction in tillage frequency, thereby reducing soil erosion and improving moisture retention. Due to its unique chemical nature, it surpasses all known herbicides from other classes in spectrum of activity.
