Reliable soil herbicide, effectively controls weeds under any conditions
Formulation: concentrate emulsion
Active ingredient: trifluralin (480 g/L)
MANUFACTURER: "Makhteshim-Agan Industries Ltd", Israel
PACKAGING: 20 L canister, 1 L can
ADVANTAGES OF THE PREPARATION:
Destroys weeds at early developmental stages during germination and prevents negative effects of weeds on crop seedling development
Well retained in soil
Extended efficacy up to 120 days
Effective both during rain (irrigation) and under dry conditions when applied properly
Technological (applied before seedbed cultivation)
Completely decomposes in soil during vegetation and does not affect subsequent crops
Mode of action:
The preparation penetrates into the plant during germination of weed seeds in soil before emergence of seedlings
Suppresses growth, negatively affecting nucleic acid synthesis and disrupting photosynthetic activity of weeds
Initial signs of Triflural action on weeds are root tip swelling. Secondary roots do not develop, stem growth is halted, cotyledon leaves and stem become tough, brittle, and take on red-blue coloration, ultimately causing weed death.
Triflural is registered for use on crops such as: rapeseed, soybean, buckwheat, sunflower, flax (for technical purposes), tomato and cabbage (seedlings), coriander, tomato (without seedlings), tobacco, garlic, onion (seedlings), eggplant and pepper, cucumber, anise, geranium, basil, caraway, mint (first year of vegetation), annual ornamentals (seedlings), lupin, alfalfa, astragalus, sand everlasting, valerian, fennel, yellow dock, cassia acutifolia, medicinal plantain, solanum dulcamara, rhatany, cleavers, lavender, esparto (seedlings), watermelon. Application on these crops see in "List of pesticides and agrochemicals approved for use in Ukraine"
APPLICATION OF THE PREPARATION:
TRIFLURAL is applied by broadcasting over the soil surface with mandatory incorporation prior to seed sowing (transplanting seedlings)
Best results of TRIFLURAL can be achieved by immediate incorporation into soil using disc harrows or tillage cultivators to a depth of 5-7 cm (pre-sowing application). Avoid stops of the sprayer on the field, maintaining constant speed of 8-10 km/hour
Caution: avoid applying doses above 4 L/ha on sunflower, and refrain from planting winter or spring cereals immediately after sunflower
Working solution dosage: 300-400 L/ha
APPLICATION NOTES:
The preparation is volatile. Immediate incorporation into soil is required
Apply the preparation when topsoil has warmed, is leveled, and prepared to a fine gravelly condition
Under adequate moisture, use disc harrows for pre-sowing soil preparation
Under moisture deficit, use tillage cultivators (depth not less than 7-8 cm)
On soils rich in humus (>4-6) the recommended dosage of TRIFLURAL should be increased (by 10-30%).
On sandy, light-textured soils, reduced doses of TRIFLURAL can be used; on heavy soils, dosage should be increased
To broaden the spectrum of action, TRIFLURAL can be applied in tank mixes with Prometrin, Metribuzin, and other soil herbicides.
